I'm working on cell culture, I have to try differential concentrations of retinol, the problem is that I made the calculations to dissolve the vitamin A acetate in DMSO, but for a concentration of 20 micromolar I find an extremely small amount in grams of the vitamin that should weigh It would also be in g / l and you can not put a lot of DMSO in the culture medium. How could I add vitamin A to my cell culture media otherwise? Knowing that 1 IU of vitamin A equals 0.344 of Vitamin A acetate, I must obtain retinol or vitamin A at a concentration of 20 micromolar with a concentration of DMSO not greater than 1%, since this is cytotoxic.
