Hello everyone! I observed in my culture (htert-RPE1 cells) an orange- red particle at the bottom of the dish. It is visible to the naked eye as a very very small red dot. Could it be a contamination (for example mold spores)?

Has your culture media turn cloudy? If not, then it may not be contamination.
Have you checked the FBS? Sometimes, FBS contains precipitates which are fibrin (clot forming protein, made up from fibrinogen subunits, that pass through filters) and lipoproteins. This is a normal characteristic of FBS, especially heat-inactivated FBS, and will not affect product performance.
To remove these precipitates, just allow them to settle at the bottom of the bottle and filter the complete medium. Do not try to filter the FBS, as the fibrins will clog the filter.

No it is just some leftover debris on your plate. Might be a manufacturing error but won't really impact your culture. Try to adjust the soft knob to focus on your cells, it'll disappear because it's in a different layer than the cells. If your cells are suddenly misbehaving, report this issue to your supplier.
