I am working on micropropagation techniques in wood tree plants, but while doing the endophytic fungi shows dominance, can anyone suggest how to inhibit the endophytic fungi?
Dear Kumbar Manjunath first, check your aseptic protocol. Second, choose the most suitable explant for initiation. Third, select the best season for initiation. Four, isolate clean lines. And fifth, likely the most imporant, don't sub estimate endophytics, they're there, waiting the best moment to say "hi". Thus, observe your materials continuously, and remove all those off-type cultures, regardless they look contaminated, or not. Good luck
ONE OF THE WAY IS TO GROW THE PLANTS IN THE IN VITRO ASEPTIC CONDITIONA IN CULTURE ROOM, THEN TAKE EXPLANTS LIKE LEAF, STEM, SEEDS FROM THESE STERILE PLANTS FOLLOWED BY STANDARD STERILIZATION OF THESE EXPLANTS AGAIN. USE BROAD SPECTRUM ANTIBIOTICS IN CULTURE MEDIA AND DO FREQUENT SUB CULTURING OVER WEEKS.
