Hi,
I'm trying to dissolve the salt Na2PdCl4 in phosphate buffer (pH=7.4, 10mM) and I wonder if I have precipitation problems.
My experiment includes incubation of palladium salt (varies between 1-100 uM) with a certain protein (0.1-10uM). In order to wash excess of Pd ions I use centricons of 10kDa (my protein is ~75KDa). When I do that I see on the membrane a small brown-ish precipitation. I did it without protein and it happened again (so the protein is not the reason).
Anyone has an idea if phosphate buffer could be the reason for this problem? Or maybe something else causing the precipitation?
Thanks,
Oren
