Is it the "elution buffer" or the "dialysis buffer"?
Note: I'll be using NanoDrop OneC
Better to use the same buffer used in final purification stage.
The recombinant protein is prepared by chromatography elution principle (which is your final product), you may use the same elution buffer.
If the dialysis step involved in final stage(after elution) of your protein purification to remove the unwanted salts, the dialysis buffer diffuse and replace your elution buffer and your final recombinant protein in dialysis buffer. In this case you may use dialysis buffer as blank.

It depends on when you want to measure.
If it's directly after purification, I suggest the elution buffer.
If your samples have been subjected to dialysis, then you should use dialysis buffer. I hope it helps
