I would like to ask, which type of syringe filter is suitable to purify extracted plasma samples for HPLC Analysis.
Currently, my extraction method involves mixing mice plasma with saline, ethanol and hexane. After mixing and centrifuging, i will remove the supernatant (organic layer) and then dry down the organic layer with nitrogen gas. Before i proceed with the drying process, is there any filter that is suitable to filter the organic layer?
As previously, I have been problems with the injector being block during HPLC analysis.

I am no expert on your methodology, but I would be inclined to use a filter after you have dried down the organic layer, just prior to an HPLC injection.
The type of filter would depend on the analyte to be detected. The last thing you want to do is to remove the analyte to be detected from the injected solution.
With HPLC, a 0.45 micron filter would be suitable.

Fully agree witt Ade Kojore's recommendation. A 13 mm diameter 0,45 micron filter is to be used. There are usually hydrophilic or hydrophobic filters, test them separately with your target compound!
I agree with the above comments. Sometimes after change of solvent create a residue, because you extract in hexane. ACN or methanol may not solubilize all extraction compounds.
