Alternatively, the centrifugal ultrafiltration method can be used for faster separation compared to dialysis, allowing quantification of the released drug; use an appropriate ultrafiltration device with a suitable MWCO of 10-30 kDa. The nylon pouch method is also a simple setup that mimics physiological conditions, using a nylon pouch with a pore size small enough to retain the nanoparticles (e.g., 0.22 μm).
