If CSCs are not responded to the extract administered to them till 6 mg. what is the next step ?

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I tried some herbal extracts on Cancer stem cells but no response till 6 mg. as a single dose ,and the result was increasing the number of caner stem cells , is it useful to try multiple doses ? OR/ is it useful to increase the dose up to 10 mg.?

OR/ what else ?

I hope herbal extract is made O.K. If 6mg/ml is dissolved in your test culture medium when you added, something is not quite right. You may start extract preparation in organic solvent (70% EtOH), freeze-dry and redissolve upto highest concentration possible in the same solvent. Set multiple concentrations to select LC50. Higher dosage may influence pH of medium. Just treat them for 24~48h under a quarter-confluent cell density.
