I have some general questions/curiousities:
I need to inject s.c. a drug that is first diluted in DMSO and than in oil (I use corn oil). Final DMSO conc is 5%.
The total volume is 200µL, I need to do it 1/week.
Where would you inject it preferentially and why ? (side or neck, close or far from the tumor mass?)
Did you ever notice, that injecting oil s.c. you immediately see that under the skin it turns white ? I see it sometimes...
How fast should the bubble get absorbed ?
Do you know/think there is a difference in corn or arachis oil regarding the tolerance of the mouse? Could it depend on the strain ?

When you administer oil+DMSO without drug, does it also turn white? If not, then I would say that the suspension of oil+DMSO+drug turns white due to drug precipitation once it gets injected (and exposed to water in body fluids). This could be also dependent on the dose of the drug you are administering. Bubble with drug should be completely absorbed within 24 hr, if it still palpable at later time point this might indicate that the drug precipitated.
Regarding your other questions, I would inject substance s.c under the neck skin, preferentially not close to the tumor (I suppose that you are aiming for systemic treatment).
