I maintain the liver cancer cell line for my studies. But i encounter some problems during sub culturing. What kind of contamination could this be?

from the picture it looks like bacillus contamination, rod shaped bacterium in chains could be diplobacilli or streptobacilli..observe at a higher magnification, stain them with Gram stain. these bacilli are gram positive
so u can easily distinguish if it is bacillus
