Dear colleagues, how can I know the components and the function of the each buffer used in DNA extraction kit based on the adsorption technique? Knowing that the required information are not available in the leaflet of the kit.

Extraction buffer contains
• detergent to disrupt the membranes,
• a reducing agent and a chelating agent to help inactivate nucleases that are released from the plant cell and can cause serious degradation of the genomic DNA,
• an absorbant agent to remove phenolic compounds.
The component of buffers varies according to the type of kit.
