Hi everyone,

I plan to perfuse-fix my mice with 4% PFA through the heart, carefully extract the brain and then post-fix the brain overnight in 4% PFA for 12-16 hours. I plan to paraffin embed them and then section them. 

What is the best way to store these brains at this point? I don't want to store them in PFA and over-crosslink my protein. Should I wash them with PBS and store them in PBS at 4C? Or should I store them in ethanol? I am paraffin embedding, so I will not use the sucrose-exchange protocol.
