I have cryopreserved caco2 cell line and the previous batch of cells had yeast contamination when cultured. Is there any procedure/washing that can be followed to remove the yeast contamination from the cryopreserved caco2 cells before culturing them (growing them again). I have just one back up cells with me and your guidance/suggestions are vital for me. The medium I have used contains 10% FCS, 1% Glutamine, 1% PEN-STREP, 1% NEAA.
