I know that longer time and higher monomer concentration (up to a limit) may increase the film thickness ....I need a film of 50 -100 microns thick film of PPy ...is that possible by electrodeposition?
Screen-printing electrode allows depositing thick polypyrrole films (up to hundreds of micrometers) on electrod surface. Thickness polypyrrole film electrodiposited on SPCE dependence on your experimental conditions.
try to electropolymerize the pyrrole at low temperature (5 0C) in ACN at the presence of hexa fluorophosphate counter ion. However you should be aware that electrochemical deposition is not so successful way to achieve very thick films of PPY.
