In order to make a polyaniline film, I used the electrodeposition method and set all the conditions, but I noticed that the polymerization process is happening, but it doesn't stick to the substrate, but I changed the substrate more than once, and the solution is right, and the polymerization happens, I hope that you will benefit me.
Hi Nina. Adhesion of PANI film to ITO depends on thickness and quality of PANI itself. These depend, in turn, on concentration of aniline, pH, temperature, background electrolyte (acid, salt) and on electrodeposition mode (CVA, potentiostatic or galvanostatic) and parameters (for CVA - sweeping rate, potential window, quantity of cycles; for potentiostatic- potential and time; for galvanostatic - current density and time). Typically the thinner film the better adhesion.
