Thanks. DCAL is the Dose and Risk Calculation software. I am using MIRD phantom as an adult female, and I want to calculate the radiation risk for the organs of phantom from the absorbed dose or effective dose. This is a beta emitter study.

DCAL does not provide organ doses for external radiation. DCAL is for internal dose from radionuclide intake. The DCAL external dose is an added feature for environmental whole-body exposures under particular scenarios.

An external beta emitter will. deposit energy primarily to the skin.
