The phase diagram from the Bi - Te system (attached) shows a very limited range over which Bi2Te3 is stable.

The melting point in indicated at 586 C above which there is the liquid phase. So, no, at 600 C such a system would be liquid with no compound formation.

I can see this behaviour here (diagram you showed to me), but refering just to this diagram I cannot know if either the Bi or Te may form carbides with the graphite I add to the material hot pressing it at 600 °C :(

I have never found the C-Bi or C-Te phase diagrams
