A physical mix was in vitro evaluated on a torque rheometer. The composition was predominantly recycled polypropylene (PP), yet the melt flow index (MFI) was found to be excessively high. Consequently, the material could not be adequately dispersed to form a thin layer that would be straightforward to cut.
Has anyone encountered this challenge when attempting to reduce the material to a small size for processing? If so, how did you overcome it, or do you have any suggestions?
Thank you.
