I am trying to obtain the Raman spectrum of monolayer graphene deposited on Si/SiO2 and grown through CVD. I obtained the graphene from ACS. However, the microscope only has a 785 nm laser. From what I understand, this is less than ideal. I would like to be able to measure from 800-2800 cm-1. I am wondering if anyone has been able to obtain the spectrum of graphene using this wavelength as well as any advice they might have on how to do it.
The problem with graphene is that it is thermally damaged by an intense laser beam. To address it, you can decrease the laser light's power (as determined by a power meter) to the lowest possible level while simultaneously extending the integration duration and accumulation period by fixing the surface laser spot on a smooth, individual flat particle surface. The perfect D and G band can be attained.

Regarding monatomic graphene, I have no information as of 2022 that confirms specific experiments with lasers operating in the frequency range of 800 to 2800 nanometers. if you have fluorescence, that may overshadow the Raman effect. That applies if your graphene is a nanoflake, a nanoribbon or highly defected, for an intact monolayer with Dirac cones I wouldn't expect that.
