Hi everyone,
Our lab is planning an immune co-culture experiment involving both adherent and suspension cells. We’ll be using a high-throughput imaging system to monitor the state of the adherent cells continuously for around 24 hours. I'm looking for a reliable cell membrane dye that can clearly label the plasma membrane of adherent cells, alongside Hoechst staining for the nucleus. The dye needs to be compatible with live-cell imaging, offer good membrane detail, and remain stable over time to support long-term monitoring. We have to options in mind: a red fluorescent dye - PKH 26 (HY-D1451) and a green fluorescent dye - PKH 67 (HY-D1421), both from Medchemexpress.
Has anyone had success with the dyes under these criteria, particularly in co-culture systems or high-content screening platforms? Thank you in advance for your insights!
