I don't think they are fit for this position . Teaching need sacrificing to deliver knowledge to the humanity. A teacher with bad character is a flame to burn the society for ever long. Its downing the greatness of human. Moreover , its the roots of every failure in the students life , I think. How a teacher go for this ?

Yes, They are as like man but in fact animal. They have no sense at least for teaching.

If the students are mature perhaps but otherwise no. The classroom is sacrasant.

I think a teacher is a saint like . He has to do the right thing for his/her students. Personal relation of a teacher will definitely lead a unfair means to the students life which is not allowed by any chance. A teacher has evaluate the students . Not only that s/he is a protagonist . So, there is no scope.

In every position including scientists, researchers, doctors even religious clerics I have seen many are found guilty. Are not they scientists, researchers or teachers? They are teachers but not human being but beast. A profession cant not make change a person good until he (mostly) changed.

Teaching is the profession which foundation is ethics . My opinion is that none profession is comparable with teachers. Teaching is not a job. I think its religion.So, a person without his/her standard measured by the cultural respect of the society is not a teacher. And I support your saying: A profession cant not make change a person good until he (mostly) changed.

Sometimes I get pain when I see a student is raped by her teacher ! Blame comes to teaching . But, I think the person who had done this is a person without ethics on teaching. Teaching is based on morality and ethics. Without Morality and ethics how a person be a teacher. Its like this a priest running a religious organization with malice character.

in my view the answer is clearly yes. There are some who have inappropriate relationships with students and abuse their powers. The majority are decent and truly committed to their students well-being and success.

In a society all kinds of people exist. But it is very unfortunate that immoral people are bringing bad name to the teaching profession.

Integrity of working organisations via human dignity and equal opportunities at par with respect to Gender. Sexual harassment at workplace is crime in India and subject to investigation for achievement of social justice.

Student with award of degree and willingness to manage matrimonial relationships with respect to 'Rule of Law' may be accepted by society.

I think teachers job is white collar job, teacher's should behave unbiased among the students is good quality of teachers. Perhaps few teachers may be behave unethical hence in society moral of teachers slowly degraded this is my personal opinion.

Ethics in teaching decided by:

1. UNESCO

2. UGC

3. University

4. Judiciary

My belief academic serve specific purpose and performance or quality is delivered by autonomy via integrity, dignity and tolerance.

Unethical activities are those activities not ethical subject to irrational inputs and restricted by Law/Rules and Regulations/Public Order via investigation.

Social and political system is assumed to 'Rational' and protection of life and personal liberty guaranteed by law in democracy of India independently to all citizens.

Teacher should be a mentor and a good book to read by student.

Being teachers do not mean we are saints, we are humans and we are created to act differently.

As teachers, we need a life worthy of emulation but that does not change the fact that we are HUMANS.

We all have our dark sides.

i, on my part, would not disqualify them as " teachers " as such, but those individuals who partake in such corrupt practices are definitely a "blot" on this noble profession.

1. Cultural diversity & Gender diversity (M/F) are real with inhabitants responsible for stability with respect to unforseen panic.

2. Equality is achievable target and protection from it for overrepresented person shall invest sustainable future.

3. Action always create reaction and therefore all actions by humans in life cycle may culminates in wisdom domain.

4. Truth is always acknowledged by society irrespective of artificial intelligence with system.

5. Extra affairs via emotional parameters may secure sinking zone in academic activities and person should remain at backtoot during predicted turbulence in human life.

Unethical behavior means institutions came down. Need high privilege priority decision by top management.

The moment a teacher is distracted by thoughts of having relationships (other than a purely student-teacher relationship) with the students, they should seek professional help including therapy and address this issue before it gets worse. Hopefully the therapist can explore what the teacher is going through and redirect the teacher to focus on their primary mission which is teaching.

Teachers must be very careful in their disposition to their students. You cannot trust yourself, just have to flee from all appearances of evil- unhealthy relationship with your students.

Its a global trend everywhere. Here in Nigeria, It is nt an issue because it happens and the lousy male teachers dont give a damn about it. Marks are given to the students who fall for them and that is really sickening, because it is immorally favouring a lazy student who sits there an expects to pass without any any. It sraelly a problem in our educational system, especially at the tertiary level.
