Research Gate is a social platform where all of research gate colleagues be in touch. This platform is helping us in interacting each other by way of sharing publications, getting clarifications in research, getting feed back, receiving comments, writing questions and getting answers. This is also helping us in getting information of our colleagues in our field of interest.

The interpersonal relationship is a great ally for possible cultural exchanges of research. RG portal can help a lot by presenting researchers around the world. It is up to each one of us, the interest in provoking possible scientific links and reducing intercontinental distances.

Personal relationships are a complicated thing, especially as they are built on different cultures. I do not like it, it's even offensive to write to me MUM. Only men of a particular nation are accustomed to doing so. A code of ethics is needed.

I do not want to comment that there are people who use this network as a dating site. It puts those on the other side in an unpleasant and confused situation.

Definitely. Commutations should be professional, based on ethics and code of conducts only. Personal relations is needed to extend the professional relations. Not the for other purposes like Facebook, Twitter or other media.

By this time I forgot the date of my membership in RG. Few days I was idle as I had very few researchers with me as followers and vice versa. Nowadays, though I am lacking of my time, but always with my colleagues , you all . I enjoy much . I think its not only reasecrhgate, but a personal relation has been developed so far though we are not very much introduced personally.

In my opinion for research, outside ResearchGate, we can contact each other by sending messages in the beginning. Of course personal relationships will affect research positively.

- We can announce the scientific activities in our countries in the RG platform.

- We can establish links with RG members in our disciplines and areas of interest for research purposes.

- Of course, this portfolio will expand in our multidisciplinary research plans.

- I think some international researches can be done.

The other social platforms are google scholar, mendely etc. One can send mails, messages and call, if any help is necessary. Personal relation always impact research.
