yes, somehow right but we must recognize the real or actual research. Recent advancement in medical science, transportation methods, electronic gadgets, astronomy has successfully proved that science is more powerful and authentic than every other theory or philosophy.

I think 70% of research are more or less fabricated. That's the ugly face of research.We have to bear it.

Next, you must develop a theory. Maybe in your theory, you believe that there is a causal relationship between good parents and good society.

Then you have to define the meaning of “good” parents, and find indicators for “good” parents.

First of all we have to understand the reality. If you can rationally prove some thing through regress analysis of logic, observation , experiment and mathematically etc that considered as reality beyond that all concepts are vague . Secondly what is research? Research is a scientific investigation of a questions or hypothesis? Where the hypothesis comes from and what is hypothesis ? Hypothesis is a tentative assumption , which may come from logical or well established ideas which can be testable. For example if you have assumption to test whether there are infinite number of sand grains on beaches or definite number ? To know this you have to some thing measurable which can estimate the precise account of it. But you can't count each and every grain of all beaches. Sand grains are real but this is unrealistic to test this assumption. Secondly if you want to know is there any fairy tales living in this worlds? This is not acceptable assumption because there is no way to test this assumption , there is no Mathematical equation or observations. Research is a scientific investigation. And science is the comparison between experiments and natural observation. Experiments should be testable to the extent which define the nature accurately.

In some ways if you build the story in good way and logic its accepted.

Any information needs references. Therefore it real and accepted. Otherwise it's not existing

You are most probably right. The so called armchair scholars get engaged in a kind of research which is often speculative and far from reality. However, conducting and reporting research is an academic benchmark that plays a crucial role in evaluating scholars' patterns of critical thinking.

as many others suggested, we need to define reality first. Today what is fiction can be fact tomorrow.

A researcher who is thinning tomorrow, what is not matching with today's reality can be story for some,many others can see it as a vision. we are making progress, coz we can go out of the boundary, or what we call reality.

Todays the sorry state of the research in most of the country with development budgets are engulfing the fake story as we are making data out the field !! Becquerel was working hard on something that did not exist, that humans are unable to perceive. By his previous calculations and hypothesis -judged "mad" or "wrong" by the establishment-, he was able to interpret the photography he did accidentally, by forgetting a granite stone on a photographic plaque, as the first ever visible evidence of radiation and it could be shown to the ones that refused to believe him. I hope it will happen the same with my historical research, where I have to fight centuries of lies, bad intentions and forgetfulness. I also work on something that almost don't exist but is still very sensible, revealing its guilt-associated nature. Lies cross with lies, that are adopted by other liars. But I got already enough proofs it really existed the way I describe it, bringing back to life cultures and civilizations, unfairly forgotten. The only thing I'm sure about is I'll go on.

At times, great novels tell much more than any scientific research, f.e. Love in cholera times, from Gabriel Garcia Marquez, that was published at the times AIDS were doing a lot of victims. My personal opinion is a good writing takes much more work that any good research.

In my story titled 'Music is a time art", I proposed the theory that the story of Pied Piper is an allegory of Black Death.. I posted the idea at RG to know whether it can be scientifically compatible. And there was a reply from RG researcher Geertje Lewin. I quote it below:

By working in exactly the area where this story supposedly happened (the city of Hameln is located about 50 km SW of Hannover, Germany) and as a toxicologist with a strong interest in historical correlations, I would highly support the thought of this allegory. A couple more theories have been published: kidnapping the children as child warriors for the 30-year-war (1618 -1648), an allegory on suppressed scientific research in Medivial times etc. From the point as a local tale in a rural area, I personally would place a preference on your interpretation.
