We can use ethanol for washing silver nanoparticles during biosynthesis. I think you can use it for dispersion
I think you meant that you dipersed your particles in the solution (colloid). There is no benefit of making nanoparticles and then dissolve them. Ethanol will preciptate your particles after 48 hrs. And will cause a broadening in size distribution.

No, what i did that i prepared a mixed matrix membrane from the nanoparticles and polymer solution, but when i used the membrane with ethanol the nanoparticles are dissociated from the membrane
