Hello everyone,
I am planning for a work related to mesenchymal to epithelial transition(MET). Actually I want to induce MET using the mesenchymal stem cells by some gene transfections. I am not sure that which type of mesenchymal stem cell lines should I use for this purpose. I am looking for some references but could not find. I would like to know if there is some one working related projects. Please give me some ideas regarding MET using mesenchymal stem cells.

I think MDA-MB 231 is known to be a weak producer of E-cadherin. Thus, it exchibit mesenchymal features. By knocking down some genes like SNAIL or SLUG, I am sure you will be able to induce an epithelial phenotype usually observed after undergoing MET.
