Why and what type of cell lines we use these type of trypsin
1. Trypsin 0.25% vs
2. Trypsin /EDTA 0.25% 1mM EDTA
3. types of cells line we use above mentioned trypsins
Calcium (Ca2+ ) and Magnesium ions(Mg2+)INHIBIT TRYPSIN. EDTA is a Calcium chelator which will "mop" up the remaining divalent cations.
Thanks Shabbir, my question is what its role during trypsinisation of cells and how it differs from non EDTA based trypsins?
with EDTA by chelating divalent cationic inhibitors of trypsin, increases the efficacy of trypsin in isolating cells
Thanks a lot Shabbir
