my research work is depend on differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into neurons,i need specific stain for neural cells to characterize it .
You can do the flow cytometry with neural specific antibody and can also do western blot.
Pls go thru this article https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21618083

You could also use some patch clump techniques to measure signal transmission and membrane potential to observe functional neurons.
Good luck
Hello
Elisa and western blot its good

Hello Aya
You could perform immunohistochemistry against a pan-neuronal marker (= a protein that all neurons express), for example Tuj1 or HuC/D.
Good luck!
