Dear those who have experience on ARPE-19 cell experiment,
Hi, I have been culturing ARPE-19 cells.
However, when I put the cells and the media in an incubator, something were observed in the cells and the media. Were they contaminated even though the color of the media was not change?
The complete media consists of DMEM/F12, 10% Fetal Bovine Serum, 1% Penicillin-Streptomycin.
Also, I have just attached some photo on the cells and the media.
Please advise and some suggestions.

I expect these waste from serum residues, sometimes the serum may contain substances that appear as residues in the culture medium
Therefore, it is preferable to use 0.22(μm) filters to pass the components of the medium before adding them to the cells, especially FBS.
Can you take a sample and spread it to an agar plate? The last picture has me a little worried about contamination.
