I had the chance to obtain a Tecan 96PW microplate washer (washes 96 wells simultaneously). Of course, it's not the newest model (it's even 'phased out' already), but why not give it a second life? Unfortunately, there is no manual. Anyone has copies (pdf) and is willing to share them? I am especially looking for any information addressing the serial (RS232) port. The operation via the keyboard should not be too different from the Columbus series, so I don't see a real problem getting it to work in basic mode, but I'd like to control it via a PC, if possible.
I am looking for the same IFU. Did you find it? I am looking for it because I am looking for compatible tubing. If you have such system could you communicate the ref or the ext/int size of each tubing?

I haven't found any manual yet, but finding replacement tubing shouldn't be a big deal, as long as it's compatible with the fluids and doesn't contract when vacuum is applied. PVC or similar (possibly braided) from any DIY shop should do the job.
I found the correct tubing but despite that I have no vacuum detected message on the screen. But the vacuum is there. Sensor issue?
Possibly. A leak would identify itself by noise. Guerilla engineering required.
