Dear fellow researchers,

We are conducting an ELISA with the "Cattle IGF 1 (Insulin-like growth factor) ELISA Kit" (Cat: ELK5630). Samples and reagents were prepared following the instruction manual meticulously. However, during the penultimate step, which involves the addition of TMB followed by the stop solution, both columns (1 and 2) corresponding to the test control exhibit intense staining, regardless of dilution. This phenomenon hinders our ability to perform comparative and quantitative analyses.

We have repeated the test three times, and the same issue has persisted.

Does anyone have suggestions regarding what might be causing this issue?

It's worth noting that we are conducting the ELISA using cell culture medium containing fetal bovine serum.
