Dear colleagues,
Has anyone got a recipe for said buffer/solution to share? I have a secondary antibody conjugated to HRP that I'd like to store at higher dilution in the fridge/freezer. Probably just using PBST with BSA isn't enough I am afraid.

Use 2% of sucrose plus 0.1 to 0.5 um tetra methyl benzidine (TMB) in the buffer.
Use StabilZyme HRP conjugate Stabilizer from Surmodics (sold also at SIGMA).
You can use 50% solution to store the stock conjugate and keep it refrigerated. No need to add any anti microbial reagent.

In high dilutions Ab conjugates are less stable than in concentrated form. You can use peroxidase stabilizing buffer (Sigma P 9209) or prepare an 1% BSA, 0.05% thimerosal, PBS solution. If you need store your diluted conjugated in a freezer you can add 50% v/v of glycerol. I do this with all my homemade conjugates. Store at -20ºC in little aliquots is very convenient.
