should i use the same fungus age in further independent experiments or this doesn’t matter?
i may use i an experiment a 7-day old fungus plate and in the next experiment i use a 5- day fungus plate for inoculation in my experiment and other times i preserve the 7-day fungus growth in refrigerator for further experiment. does this affect my results?
It depends on the experiences you want to do. for example for inoculations it is necessary to work with a fresh culture (not taken directly from the fridge). spores that are younger germinate faster than old spores
Inoculum age and size should be united if you you are comparing results from various trials

you shoud not use the same fungus age in further independent experiments , because if need identification by PCR you shoud need a culture of 3days or max 4 days, the same for biotechnology use , fungus must be young.
