If i add a chemical solution to a fungus mycelia growm on PDA in plate. i want to make sure that my desired conc. of chemical would be fully absorbed by the fungus cells but i also don’t want to fload the mycelial growth because this caused deformation to the growth as shown in attached photo . so i could not measure the diameter of growth. So, my question , if i add my desired concentration in a little amount to avoid the deformation cuased by floading, will it be adequately absorbed and translocated between the fungus cells or floading is necessary??thanks in advance
