16 January 2025 1 440 Report

As the title says, I'm looking for a fairly basic LIMS software to be used to keep track of biobanking, with reagent tracking as a nice additional feature, does anybody know of one? My main want is to have topography of boxes stored within a fridge, with the samples easily identified.

I've been playing with a few such as Quartzy, which nearly suits our needs, but the UI is a little clunky for what I'm after. eLabInventory is great, however too expensive.

Bonus points if

  • A UI that allows customization of sample types for easy viewing
  • Allows metadata to be linked to each sample
  • Is reasonably cheap (if not free!!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers!
