I learned that a mariner transposon requires only TA dinucleotides for transposition on some DNA strand. (no special sequence prefernce)

Let's assume that a cut-and-paste mariner transposon exist in a low copy number plasmid, pACYC.

Total number of mariner transposons are increased with replication of the pACYC

I would like to know that is it possible those multiple copies of mariner transposons could be inserted into the multiple loci of E. coli chromosome? or the transpsable element can be exist as a single insertion per each individual cell.

Thanks
