Hi there,

We are driving a project on breast cancer bearing female BALB/c mice. After 4 weeks interventions, 4T1 breast cancer carcinoma cell lines (650000-750000) were subcutaneously injected in the inguinal flank area near to back of animals. ""After 6-8 days cancer were palpable in the cells injection position of more than 85% of BALB/c mice""!!! Unfortunately, all mice have begun rejection of the tumors in the second and third weeks after injection!?!?! Now, less than 10% mice have tumor and the other ones (including intervention groups and control) have rejected the tumors!!! I don't know the main reason for this challenge! Is it possible that BALAB/c mice are not homozygous and they are heterozygous? Or it is because of technical error in tumor cell lines injection? Please advise as necessary.

Thanks!
