Hello,

I am using ANSYS Fluent for simulating the filling stage of an injection mould. However, when comparing the results with those of specialized software, such as Moldex 3D, I found the correlation of the temperatures along time to have significant divergences. As I have little experience in this type of analysis, I kindly ask the community to let me know their opinion on how the following aspects of the simulation could be setup:

-Flow model of molten PP (Laminar, k-epsilon, k-omega)

-Options of the molten PP (viscous heating, turbulence, etc.)

-Solver settings for transient analysis (Solver type, computation of pressure and moment)

I would be glad if I someone could help me,

I thank the scientific community in advance,

Best regards,

Hugo Silva
