We have been working with this monomer for years and do its handling (cleaning, preparation of solutions, washing and treating the synthesized polymer, etc.) in a hood and with gloves. In your case you can assemple the cell with aniline solution in a hood but potentiostat can be placed near the hood and connected electrically with the cell electrodes. Fortunately, in the acidic solution aniline is in the form of its salt and not volatile. Anyway, first, you should read manuals how to work with aniline

Hi, it is recommended to keep only the setup inside the fume hood, with the cables appropriately set up to avoid damage to them. You will have a hard time controlling the experiment with the potentiostat behind a glass cover during the experimental process.
