I performed fea on tensile dog bone specimen using ANSYS static structural and also tried using ANSYS explicit dynamics.
In experimental result the load is 500 N and deformation is 0.6 mm whereas in fea the load is around 550 N but deformation is too large (8 mm) compared to experimental counterpart. I am unable to understand this behavior.
For material properties, I am using multilinear material model, defined using stress-strain curve data from experiment.
