hi, i am isolating DNA from 384 lines in a mapping population , but it takes my entire day for just 15 or maximum 30 samples . I want to do more than 30 in one time . Currently i am using 2 ml eppendorf tubes but it takes lot of time to open and close them and change the supernatant from one tube to another each time . The protocol that i am following is 65 degree incubation of 1 hour after grinding ,then Rnase treatment for 1 hour in 35 degree , then 2 times washing with C:I, followed by ammonium acetate-ethanol precipitation for 40 minutes , washing and air dying . Can we isolate DNA in 96 well plates and design my protocol less time consuming ?
