How to calculate the amount of DNA strands for each goldnanoparticle?

I read one paper (Hai-Bo Wang, 2013/DOI: 10.1039/c3nj00328k), he claim that there are approximately 50 strands of DNA probe for each AuNP.

But, when I check a table from this paper (please check attachment), diameter (10-15 nm) = 60-110 oligos/particle.

So, which one is correct??

Hii Hasan,

In my point of view, you can check it by using nanodrop spectrophotometer A260:

1. check the weight of each oligo (in nanograms).

2. correlate it with the per microlitre of conjugated gold nanoparticles.

3. calculate the conjugated gold nanoparticles/microlite of solution.

by doing this you can calculate oligo/nanoparticle, by weight and number. hope its works.
