How do I use U/ml?

I need to create my standard curve for an SOD assay and the protocol says I must create a serial dilution using 200U/ml, 100U/ml, 50U/ml etc.

Where do I find the starting concentration (U/ml) for the SOD? I am sure I am misunderstanding something and I am thrown by this unit of measurement? I don't know how to dilute the SOD stock we have in our lab to the 200U/ml, for example.
