May I ask a question about indexed by Scopus. 1 month ago, I have published my paper in the Journal name: Challenges in Sustainability in 20/05/2024. However, this Journal has changed its publisher from Librello publishing house to Acadlore Publishing Services Limited in 01/2024. Therefore, will my paper get indexed by Scopus? I have waited around 6 weeks and the paper hasn't got indexed yet. I have already emailed the Editors of the Journal, they replied me that they already sent the published paper to get indexed by Scopus but still in progress. I have also emailed Scopus to ask about the indexing but Scopus replied that only published paper on the original publisher site (Librello) can be counted. Then may I ask what should I do now? Wait for more time or email Scopus to ask?

The publisher ACADlore https://www.acadlore.com/about took over another Scopus indexed journal from Librello Publishing house http://www.librelloph.com/organicfarming This journal needs to be revived since they publish not that many papers, have a look at Scopus content coverage here https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21100970267
The journal “Challenges in Sustainability” is indeed now owned by ACADlore https://www.acadlore.com/journals/Cis This is not changed in Scopus at the moment https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21100932526 looking at the Scopus content coverage then it is clear that this journal needs to be revived as well.
Change of publisher means most likely that a new evaluation will take place (credibility of the new publisher, check of way of operation, assurance of scientific quality etc.). Looking at https://www.acadlore.com/journals and the fact that none of their non-indexed journals charge an APC I see no clear features of a predatory publisher so I estimate that change that they will successfully ‘survive’ the Scopus evaluation as pretty high. How long this will take is hard to say, I guess being patient is the best way to go forward.

PS. Librello Publishing house sold/transferred another journal http://www.librelloph.com/journalofhumansecurity to a publisher called H&K Publisher and this went pretty smoothly https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/19400156803
