As per the method described by Aebi (1984), extinction coefficient for catalase is 39.4 L/micromoles/cm. but in many research articles, the given extinction coefficient is 39.4 L/mM/cm and 40 L/mM/cm. My question is whether value is constant or it depends on the the concentration of reactants?
Again, what is the correct value of extinction coefficient for catalase activity?

micromoles is not the correct unit for concentrations. If reagents absorb the light in the same range of wavelengths, then formally calculated extinction coefficient would be dependent on their concentrations. The difference between 39.4 L/mM/cm and 40 L/mM/cm is 1.5%, which is within experimental error.
