Hi guys, I'm trying to express recombinant GPI-Anchor protein(Alkaline phosphatase) in insect cell. As you all know, GPI-Anchor protein has signal peptide for ER-pathway and propeptide(hydrophobic) for membrane Anchoring.

I'm trying to express my recombinant protein to be secreted out from the cell, and that way i can get my recombinant protein from supernatant(medium).

To make this happen, should i just take propeptide off from beginning(Cloning phase)??

I have really poor knowledge in protein science, really need help from great scientists like you guys. Thank you :)
