Does anyone know of a module for the JAMOVI software that is capable of generating mean separations using the classic letters based on post hoc results (e.g., Tukey test)?
If, as I believe, such a module does not exist, it would also be useful to develop one since, at least in the natural sciences (Biology, Agricultural, Ecology...), these are widely used.
Unfortunately, I do not have the skills to develop it, but if someone is interested, I would be willing to help :-)
I agree... In my personal view, I've been disappointed with the limited expanded functionality of Jamovi over the years. I was expecting there to be more useful modules as time went on, but, if anything, it seems like some older modules --- like for example doing plotting --- no longer work.
Personally, I would add compact letter displays to the core functionality. But I guess if you don't contribute, you can't complain.
That being said, it should be easy enough to export the table of comparisons and feed it into multcompLetters. But then again, at that point, you might as well run the analysis in R...
In JAMOVI, post hoc test lettering (such as using letters to indicate significant differences) can be added by selecting the "Post Hoc" option under the ANOVA or similar analysis module. After running the analysis, you can choose to display the results with group comparisons annotated by letters indicating significant differences.
Chuck A Arize Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like there's an option for post hoc lettering (screenshot attached).
Maybe you're referring to a specific module (I use the default one).
