Hi

I have found some differentially expressed microRNAs in diabetic nephropathy mouse models and I collected their validated targets in mouse from some databases such as miRTarBase, Tarbase, miRecords and miRWalk. If I chose human organism, I could get more validated targets for these microRNAs as the exprimental evidence in human is more than mouse. I don't know I can suppose that these microRNAs have same target in mouse and human (my microRNA were confirmed in mouse models). Is it correct that I combine validated targets of these microRNA in mouse and human studies? I don't want to use microRNAs target prediction to increase the number of their targets.

Best, Maryam
