We are currently doing an observation on epithelial cancer cells that will be induced to EMT by multiple exposure of a certain drug. There was a decrease in e-cadherin expression while vimentin was increased (EMT). However, under transwell, the emt-induced cells did not migrate well compared to the parental cells. Do you support that emt phenomenon does not equally correlate to increased migration?

Also, the emt induced cells did not maintain their emt state and reverted their e-cadherin and vimentin expressions as that of the parental cells, however, the migration patterns are still the same as above. Do you have any suggestions on which aspect to look for regarding migration patterns other than EMT?
