I think you need to change the media everyday and eventually split it after reaching 70% confluency. This might solve the problem. How much confluency here you are talking about??

I would change half of the medium every 2 days. EC cells can migrate easily under certain condition They are very sensitive to the culture condition.

Thanks all for your suggestion. The cells have almost detached and don't look healthy so probably I will have to postpone my growth factor treatments. I would make sure from next time that I keep changing my media every 2 days to keep them healthy. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
