Can you use PE Annexin v apoptosis detection kit i with mouse lung tissue?

I have a PE Annexin V Apoptosis Detection kit from BD Pharmingen to detect incidence of apoptosis by flow cytometry. Can I use mouse lung tissue with this assay? If so, how would you suggest I digest and prepare the lungs from in vivo?

I see no reason for not using the mentioned detection kit for your procedure, it works well both in primary cell lines and immortalized ones. For the digestion i recommend the protocols i attach as links from Worthington Tissue Dissociation References and Bio-Protocol
